I
provide consulting support for users of the Microsoft Windows operating system.
This includes troubleshooting, installation, and configuration issues on
a variety of Windows versions. I am also able to provide help with hardware
issues on PCs. I have trained users to
help
them
learn
how
to use their
desktop and application
software. Issues related to applications such as e-mail, word processing,
financial and spreadsheets are often addressed. Project help is also available
for database, mail merge, and compatibility problems.
Small
office and home networking issues, including wi-fi, are also a part of the
consulting help that I provide. I have set up simple peer-to-peer networks
and configured Internet access through local ISPs. I also have set up
more business-class networks using Microsoft's Small Business Server and
Windows Home Server.
SOHO Business Enterprises is a registered Microsoft partner, and is part of its TechNet program. I am also active in the Waltham-based Small Business Server User Group. I currently hold MCP, MCTS, MCITP and MCDST certifications.
